For The Home - Under $40August 28, 2012
I am completely obsessed with home decor now!
I left my house to get 1 hat box and somehow returned a lamp, the lamp shade and a mirror. I know, I know... I'm working on it. Just pray for me.
If you even remotely look at the Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages, you already know I am a Goodwill junkie. So it really shouldn't come as a surprise that that's where I scored all this. The lamp shade was such a steal and is the perfect height and size (and price at $6.99) for an upcoming DIY project I've been dying to do. So stay tuned for that! I have been eyeing this lamp for the past few weeks and finally gave in because it was 30% off, not that the original price of $14.99 would break the bank but I would never say no to a discount.
As for the mirror, consider me hooked. When I initial saw it, I only saw the frame buried under a stack of old pictures and immediately the light bulb popped over my head to make another DIY Earring Picture Frame Holder. However, after I uncovered it, I realized there was absolutely NO WAY I would take this gorgeous find apart. I then remembered that it would match my idea for the living room... So, I bought it for $20 bucks.
Although I didn't set out looking for any of this, I must say that I am happy I found it and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
