Thanksgiving Holiday Lookbook 2013

November 18, 2013

Not sure what to wear for Thanksgiving dinner? Get inspired by these looks...

SEMI-CASUAL
Layer a stretchy sweater and add a blazer for warmth. The blazer and scarf can be used to hide any unwanted attention if you eat too much. Pair this look with a simple pearl strand and low heel- knee high boots for extra glamour.

LAID BACK HOSTESS
Layer a cardigan over an over-sized sweater shirt for a quick way to spruce up your outfit before guests arrive. Since the sweater is not fitted and the blazer is left opened, you'll still be chic and comfy while tending to your guests. Pair this look with a simple pearl strand and festive socks (if you prefer not to have shoes on) or ankle booties.

FORMAL
A simple black shift dress always works, especially on Thanksgiving. It's forgiving in the mid section and allows you comfort and style with minimal effort. Pair this look with a long multi-strand statement necklace, statement coat and sparkling shoes.

CASUAL GLAM DIVA
There's always one girl that must wear spanx (aka leggings), so if you must, make sure it's in over the top style. Pair leather leggings with an oversize shirt with leather detailing - that covers your bum (it's just in good taste to cover your goodies while everyone else is eating). Since there's already so much going on,keep this chic look monocromatic with a splash of color and sky high booties,

CASUAL LUNCHEON
Get sparkly with a shimmering top, distressed jeans and a shiny blazer. This look allows you to remain comfortable as you stuff your face (and as your stomach expands). Pair this look with sky high heels and simple drop earrings.
