Ikea Hack: DIY Skubb Dog Bed TrundleApril 12, 2014
In a 90 sq. ft. room you need all the space you can get...
This is the before... and unfortunately, it's pretty much the only open space in this room. Because I'm in a matchbox, it's utterly necessary for this space to be as open as possible. At one point, I actually considered building a trundle for the puppies but I needed something that's easier to transport. Anytime I have an idea, I usually pay a visit to Ikea for inspiration. As I wondered around the warehouse, I found this awesome under bed storage solution..
The SKUBB box comes in 2 sizes- the size pictured above at $7.99 or there is one half the size at $4.99- both are available for purchase here. This is a really quick, inexpensive solution that easily slides under the bed when it's not in use during the day and also has a convenient attached lid that zips closed if I need to travel. The even better part is the puppies love it! Not to mention, it's a great temporary solution especially if you're in an apartment and it only takes 5 minutes to set up.
Hope this helps,
