Fall with Grace & Give Good FaceMay 7, 2014
Everybody falls at some point...
There are and will be many times in life that we will fall, especially when dealing with other people. No matter how much good you intend to do, after you've said and done what you must, the factor we must all remember consideration. No matter how much you want to help someone, they have to want to help themselves.
Everyone doesn't have the same goals and ideas and that's okay. That's what makes us different. More often than not, when we think we know what's best for another person, and take matters into our own hands. Doing this is insensitive and impolite. No matter how right or wrong you think the other person is, everyone is entitled to live, think and do whatever they please (as long as it's within the limits of the law, of course).
The bottom line is anytime you've overstepped your boundaries, apologize. There is no point in straining or loosing a relationship because emotions are high. Logically, you may be correct while the person feels they have been validated because of their emotion. Take a deep breath and calm down before you speak. Always remember, life is too short and tomorrow is not promised.
