DIY Mini Journals

July 24, 2014

Inspiration is everywhere!

It's been about a week since my last and I sincerely apologize... To make up for it, I come bearing a super easy and quick DIY project. When it comes to note taking, I'm a bit old school because I still love using the regular ol' pen and  paper system. As the title indicates, I was inspired by the Moleskine Cahier Journals

I noticed that they, are sewn/stitched down the spine of the journal and thought, "Pssssssh, I can totally DIY this." Since I'm going to a blogger panel on Friday (and I just like making stuff) I decided to make a mini journal to take with me... That and I needed a journal that would actually fit in my clutch bag.

Cardstock Paper (or a cereal box)
Hole Punch
Glue Stick
Invisible Tape
Decorative Paper (Scrapbook, Gift Wrap, Etc)
Embroidery Thread (or Baker's Twine)
Printer Paper
Paper Cutter

The best part is it only takes about 10 minutes to assemble. What are you going to use your journal for? Let me know below!
