DIY Tinsel Drink StirrersJuly 1, 2015
Sometimes, it's unbelievably easy to make any occassion festive with sparkly decor. Drink stirrers and dessert toppers are a great way to add a fun element of texture and require little effort (and clean up). Plus, you can generally find tinsel to match any holiday (New Years, Christmas, Valentine's, Patriotic, etc) at you local craft or dollar store.
Adding the tinsel to the top provides a professional look and finish to otherwise bland toothpicks and skewers, and it takes less than a minute to make.
- Skewers, Chopsticks, Toothpicks, etc
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Cut a small piece of tinsel off (roughly 3 inches) and apply a small amount of glue to the tip of the stick.
2. Wrap the ends around your pinky to create a circle, this will make the tinsel look like a firework burst, or leave them open to make a bigger presentation like the stirrer in the 4th of July FireCracker Mocktail
