Whitening Your Teeth At HomeNovember 4, 2015
Let's be honest, we all want a pearly white smile. So when The Hubs decided he wanted to whiten his teeth, we began researching. Since there are so many options to choose from that it can be a tad overwhelming to decide which brand will give you the most bang for your buck. So imagine how excited, and relieved, we were when the good people at Smile Brilliant contacted us about doing a review.

The Tray Creation Kit we received is worth about $140, which is a REALLY good deal considering the same service is over $500 at the dentist. Before you can whiten your teeth, you will need to make a dental impression to create your custom teeth whitening tray. All of the materials needed to make the teeth whitening trays are included in the kit and need to be mailed back to the lab in the prepaid envelope provided. After 6-10 days, you will receive your trays back and can begin whitening your teeth.
Also provided in the Tray Creation Kit are the Whitening Gel and Desensitizing Gel syringes. Always brush and floss your teeth before you do any process to ensure they will whiten evenly, then place a thin line of the whitening gel in the tray. It's recommended to leave the whitening gel on for 15 minutes to 3 hours - The Hubs left his on for an hour and a half. Rinse the whitening trays off, then use the desensitizing gel for 20-60 minutes to rehydrate your teeth.
